Publishing Calendar Events

Created: 12/21/2017Updated: 04/19/2018

The Roll Call calendar can also be used to enter miscellaneous items that are not handled by services, events and groups. Some examples might include staff meetings, vacation schedules or the use of specific conference rooms.

Resources

If there are specific pieces of information you’d like to enter about a calendar event, you can set those up as resources. For example, if you will be using the calendar events for meetings, you may wish to indicate which conference room will be used for a meeting. You can set up a resource called “room” and enter a list of rooms that can be used.

To create a resource, do the following:

  1. Click on the gear icon at the top of the calendar.
  2. On the left side of the window, click the Add button.
  3. Enter the name of the resource.
  4. Click on the first line of the grid to the right, under values.
  5. Enter the valid values that can be selected for this resource.
  6. Click SAVE to save this resource and associated values.
